Link your Twilio account with the Chrome extension
If you want Twilio in the browser — not a separate desktop app — connect the account you already own. The extension uses your SID, token, and number. Calls and texts stay on Twilio. You get a dialer, SMS inbox, and auto dialer in Chrome.
What “linked” means
The Chrome Twilio Dialer does not issue you a mystery phone line. You paste credentials from Twilio Console. After that, outbound calls, inbound ringing, and SMS in the inbox use that project. Same account you can use in Odoo calling or on Android.
What you need from Twilio
- Account SID — on the Twilio Console dashboard.
- Auth Token — treat it like a password; do not share it in chat or email screenshots.
- A Twilio number — the caller ID and SMS identity the extension will use.
Voice and SMS must be enabled on that number for the features you plan to use.
Connect in four steps
- Install the Twilio Dialer Chrome extension.
- Open the extension and enter Account SID and Auth Token.
- Set your Twilio number.
- Place a test call or send a test SMS from the inbox.

Credits stay on your SID
If you buy call credit packs, keep the receipt. Credits attach to the Twilio Account SID you use in the extension. There is no monthly subscribe; unused credits do not expire.
