BYO Twilio is the product
Paste Account SID and Auth Token. Set the number. Calls and SMS ride your Twilio project. That is documented in link your Twilio account. MyBroadcast does not replace Twilio Flex if you need a full contact center. Flex is official Twilio. The Chrome extension is a third-party dialer on the same account — see portal #10 in top 10 calling portals.
Where seats creep in
Sales dialers (Kixie, PhoneBurner, JustCall) and cloud phones (Aircall, OpenPhone, CloudTalk) typically add a seat on top of telephony. That seat is what we skip. No per-user price. One plan for all users. Shared minute / credit bucket. Pay as you use. No MyBroadcast subscription.
Install
Get the Twilio Dialer from the Chrome Web Store. Invite the team onto the SID. Optional credits on payment never expire and attach to that SID. Related: Twilio calling software.
Credentials stay on the Twilio project
Account SID and Auth Token belong to your Twilio Console user. The extension is a client. We do not ask you to email tokens. Teammates who should call must be people you trust with that project — the same as any Twilio app. Unlimited MyBroadcast users does not mean you should paste the Auth Token in a public Slack. Connect Twilio once, control who installs, share the minute pool on purpose.
