Odoo calling is telephony that lives in Odoo: a Call button on a contact, a ringing widget, and a call log on the same record the salesperson already uses. It is not a hosted cloud-phone seat product and not Odoo Discuss chat.
Our module uses your Twilio Voice account. Minutes and numbers stay on that SID. Odoo is the UI. Twilio is the carrier.

Odoo VoIP vs a Twilio module vs a seat portal
