Twilio Dialer for Salesforce
Lightning stays the CRM. Twilio stays the carrier. Chrome is the phone. Click a phone field on a Lead or Contact and place the call on your Twilio account.
Twilio Auto Dialer & Softphone
Salesforce-native CTI vs a Twilio Chrome dialer
AppExchange CTI packages (Open CTI) embed a dialer inside Salesforce and write Call objects. That is the right buy if you need native Task/Call__c logging and a Salesforce-only floor.
MyBroadcast is the faster path when reps already work Lightning in Chrome and you refuse another per-seat CTI invoice on top of Twilio. Click-to-call from the page; log the activity in Salesforce as you do today.
What we do not claim
We do not claim a Salesforce-native managed package, Service Cloud Voice replacement, or automatic Call__c writes. Those are AppExchange / Open CTI jobs.
We do claim: your Twilio rates, unlimited MyBroadcast users, list auto dialer, SMS on the same number, and a softphone that works while Salesforce is a tab.
Suggested workflow
1. Twilio in the extension
SID, token, number.
2. Lightning in Chrome
Lead, Contact, or Opportunity.
3. Click the phone field
Call starts on Twilio Voice.
4. Log the Task
Keep Salesforce as source of truth.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a Salesforce AppExchange CTI?
No. It is a Chrome Twilio dialer that works on Salesforce in the browser. For native Open CTI, use an AppExchange package.
Can I use my existing Twilio numbers in Salesforce?
Yes. The extension uses the Twilio account you connect. Salesforce does not have to own the telephony.
Does it work with Salesforce Classic?
The product is a Chrome client. If the phone number is visible on the page, click-to-call can apply. Lightning in Chrome is the intended workflow.
