What this Twilio softphone includes
The softphone is the on-screen phone: a keypad, mute, hold, transfer, an inbound ring, and caller ID from the Twilio number you select. Outbound calls start from the pad, a number you click, or a list. Inbound calls ring in Chrome when that number’s Voice configuration routes to this client.
You still set TwiML and webhooks in Twilio Console. MyBroadcast is the browser client on the account you already have.
Add the softphone and connect Twilio
1. Add to Chrome
Install Twilio Auto Dialer & Softphone from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Connect
Paste your Account SID and Auth Token. They stay in the extension.
3. Number
Pick the Twilio number that should show as caller ID.
4. Microphone
Allow Chrome to use the mic, then place a test call with a headset.
